Welcome to my web page!!! I'm faculty at the Departamento de Sistemas e Computação, of the Universidade Federal de Campina Grande, in Brazil, where I'm director of the Laboratório de Sistemas Distribuídos. My research focuses on Grid Computing. I lead OurGrid, a research project developed in collaboration with Hewlett Packard that aims to provide a complete and practical grid solution for Bag-of-Tasks applications (i.e. parallel applications whose tasks are independent). If you have a Bag-of-Tasks application, please check out the open source software we developed in OurGrid. If you are a computer scientist looking at Grids, you may find my papers and talks interesting. My hobby is photography.
